In 2017 Harrah's announced plans to add a fourth hotel tower, a convention center, an entertainment center and a parking deck. It expanded the casino floor and added a 3rd hotel tower, luxury spa, a 3,000-seat Events center, new parking garages and food and retail outlets. It lies on a 56-acre property located 50 miles SW of Asheville at the entrance to Great Smoky Mountains National Park.Ī $650 million construction project was completed in July 2012.
